"I'm from New York, a State that sadly tolerates Abortion On Demand. Legalizing Abortion was all ready an issue in the New York State Legislature as early as 1965. On April 9, 1970 one Assemblyman changed his vote from no to yes at the last second. The Nation's most Liberal Abortion law was passed by the legislature by just 1 vote. The law was "Abortion On Demand" allowing Abortion up to 24 weeks for any reason. People would come from all over the country to go to New York for Abortions. People were disgusted by the permissive law. In 1972 a bill that would have repealed the Abortion law was Vetoed by then Governor Nelson Rockefeller. A few months later enough pro-lifers were elected to the Assembly to override the Veto but the dark decision of Roe Vs. Wade came. California legalized Abortion in 1967, Washington State, Alaska and Hawaii in 1970 and D.C. in 1971. Now all 50 states had to allow Abortion On Demand against their wills. I'm one of 7 adopted children so that's why I oppose Abortion so strongly. Even after 9/11/2001 New York still tolerates Abortion. Medicaid funds all Abortions, there is no Parental Consent and no 24 hour waiting periods. Abortion never has been regulated in New York since it was Legalized in 1970. The only regulation is the banning of third trimester Abortions. In 1991 a baby survived an illegal third trimester Abortion attempt and was born without an arm. Pray for an end to Abortion and a reversal of Roe Vs. Wade." --S. "Thank you so much for putting your time into your web site to spread the word about how evil abortion is and the grasp that it has on the people. If there is anything that I can do to speed your fight, just let me know. My neigbhor's 14 year old daughter was going to have an abortion last April and I stopped it. I told her that Jesus would help her raise the child and so far he has helped by making up her mind for her. I also called that abortion clinic that she consulted and pretended to be her, and cancelled the appointment . She thought that she was too young to legally have an abortion like I told her she was, and She kept the child!! We now need to pray for her, as the child has Fetal alcohol syndrome, though the girl was soo young!! can you imagine having a problem with the drink at such an age? Well, it looks like the state is going to put the child into foster care as it is really not cared for at all and never even has a diaper on and is always dirty and sick. Maybe you can tell people that they should call abortion clinics and cancell appointments, it was a huge success for me!! WWJD?" --A. (16 years old)
